Late last night as the sky grew weary outside I stubbed my tired toe on a mighty nugget equiped with the fearfully dazzling glow of gold. Haunting voice with deceptively simple music. Four walls disintegrating before me. Bill Callahan had entered my space for quite possibly not the first time but certainly the first 'real' time.

I am forseeing not leaving behind his achingly raw and organic singing any time soon. If you haven't had a listen to him already then do. Truly do. If you like the likes of Leonard Cohen, Adem, Johnny Cash, Rodriguez and co. then I feel confident you will at the very, very least enjoy a little listen. A beautifully crafted video to watch too..splendid.
