There's lots and lots of sunny openings this week, including new exhibitions by four of the best artist-run spaces in London right now!

Thursday evening brings two solo shows by up-and-coming artists in up-and-coming galleries. Firstly, Supplement will present their second exhibition of 2009, Hayes Moods, a new installation by recent Royal College of Art graduate Ross Taylor. Supplement is an excellent independent space in Bethnal Green with a desire to "propose a critical engagement with contemporary art practice through the presentation of six solo exhibitions per year accompanied by discussions, events and texts". For more information click {here}.

Secondly, the Bun House in Peckham will be opening a solo show by Jesse Wine, Meat & Eggs. Expect to see pop-fetish sculptures of breasts, cats and meat, accompanied by a press release in the form of a short story: "Clip, clip. Black patent stiletto's graced the concrete. The tightest white dress mapped out the curves of her body, cut high on the leg, low on the neck, nipples reaching skyward, the fabric clung to her perfectly bronzed skin. Brazenly she removed her sunglasses, sliding one arm into her cleavage, the weight teased her dress down."? For more information visit {this Facebook event}.

The day after, Friday evening, promises another pair of cutting-edge private views. Having left Vyner Street, Alma Enterprises will be inaugurating the opening of their new exhibition space in Southwark with a solo show by recent Goldsmiths graduate Neil Hedger, entitled A Day At The Races. The young sculptor is influenced by the perverse writing of French Surrealist Georges Bataille, and posits an expressionistic contemporary form for the tradition of figurative sculpture. For this exhibition he has developed a new sculpture, working for two months within the gallery space itself. For more details click {here}.

At the same time, the group exhibition Breakfast of Champions will be opening at Yinka Shonibare Space, which operates out of the celebrated artist's studio complex in Hackney. Inspired by Kurt Vonnegut's 1973 science fiction novel, and curated by Chloe Vaitsou, this show will explore alternate realities and parallel universes. It promises a mirror-panelled sailing boat, perfume-infused tampons and re-imaginings of Bible stories, and features Larry Achiampong, Ziad Antar, Dan Attoe, Rinat Kotler, Henry Krokatsis, Oswaldo Macia, Rallou Panagiotou, Zoƫ Walker and Neil Bromwich. It should be amazing, and has its own website {here}.?
