Nancy Fouts show extended until end of July. A must see. 52 Oakley Square, NW1

Running until this Saturday night is yet another splendid event at the continually soon-to-be-closed-down Shunt. The opening night was yesterday and it was an evening that got the four days off to a great start. If you have never been to Shunt before then you simply must do; if not for the performances, lectures, music or art then only to see and experience the cavernous architecture and damp alcoves. They are truly, beautifully inspiring.
I believe it is open until late July though hopefully the recession woes will continue to postpone the hungry developers from getting in there are ruining what is surely one of the best creative spaces in London.
M-V-E-M-J-S-U-N-(P) is a four-night event at the Shunt Lounge in London Bridge curated by Tom Duggan and The Heritage Arts Co.
A pregnant collection of performance, installation, film, music and animation from Tom Duggan, The Heritage Arts Company and the friends of both are promised and will no doubt be delivered. Whatever your game, there will be something you'll want to play with. Last night saw a healthy turnout of people despite the tube strike and intermittent showers of rain and no doubt the crowds will grow over the coming days leading up to Saturday night.
There is stunning installation work from Luke Montgomry, curator Tom Duggan and Dicky Graham as well as music from Johnny Flynn, Laura Marling, jamesreindeer and many more talented folk.
For further details about this event then click here and while you are at the site have a look at all the other events happening. There are many!
M-V-E-M-J-S-U-N-(P) runs until Saturday, Shunt doors are open from 6pm or 8pm on Saturday, but get there early. See the website {here}.
