Another week begins and so, here I am again, as predictable as a sun dial sat chalky and erect in the lawn of a once grand manor house now celebrity rehab, spa and organic spinach and juice farm.

Tuesday 24th there is a private view at the Sartorial Gallery. This is a really interesting gallery that has a consistent flow of interesting exhibitions. Hopefully this one will prove to be just as good as we have come to expect of them. 'Getting Better' features the largest selection of Harry Pye's paintings to date as well as featuring guest collaborators such as Hannah Armstrong, Gordon Beswick, Marcus Cope and Geraldine Swayne. The theme of the show is happiness and also plays on the fact that it will be running over Easter when Jesus maybe did not rise from the dead. Several paintings will be depicting the life of that oh so aloof character Christ. For further details on this exhibition then click here.

On Thursday 26th there is an opening at the Salon Gallery boldly titled 'Best of the UK'. This is a group exhibition of six artists. Salon Gallery is devoted to debuting and promoting the work of talented recent graduates so if you are intrigued by the prospect of seeing the 'best' recent graduates currently working in the UK then this show will surely excite. There have, however, been quite an alarmingly large amount of these 'Best, bestest ever' shows of late and curiously they seem to have different artists in each one. So do not necessarily consider it a sure thing until you have been for yourself. Good luck. Click here for further details.

New Factory of the Eccentric Actor presents an original interpretation of the 1913 Futurist opera this Friday. It boasts a promenading cast of over 40 performers and musicians. The show will take place at the splendid 176 Gallery. The pertinent dates and times are as follows: Friday 27, 8pm; Saturday 28, 8pm and Sunday 29 March, 3pm. For more information then visit the Club Ponderosa site here.

Also there is an opening at the new 'Space in Between' Gallery this Friday. I believe it is only the second show to date for the artist run space and it features the work of Sandy Smith. 'Pure Love' is a solo show and will run until 5th April. It is only open at the weekends and in the week by appointment. The address for the gallery is Unit3 Gallery, 19C Goulton Road, Hackney, London, E5 8HA. For information on this artist then follow this link here.

Until next week then all of you. Oh and yes, follow the murmurART lot on twitter if you so wish. Here are the necessary bobbings regards that twitter thing: http://twitter.com/murmurART
